In October 2002 Senator McCain supported the invasion on Iraq and is still supportive. He favored troop increase, and argued that sending troops to Iraq made a more stable government. Senator McCain also apposes against a time limit on retrieving the American soldiers from Iraq, but predicts that he would have them home by 2013.

“I’ll continue to try to find ways to make them move forward. But to threaten withdrawal, frankly, is an option that I would be very reluctant to exercise unless I was sure that we had no other option, and I think we have lots of them.”

In October 2002, Senator Obama had opposed the invasion on Iraq, he was against the troop increase. In addition to this, Senator Obama wants to end this war as soon as possible by retrieving troops, and within 16 months he predicts that all American interference would be absoulete with the Iraqis tribulations.

I think that this right should be altered, for the reason that of many shocking situations that has happened this past years. For instance the school shootout in Virginia Tech, was a result of a need for change in the Amendment. This Amendment is not getting any younger  and should be updated. As part as the consititution, change is nessary. Somethings of which the government may choose, can be unconsititional, however this choices can save others. For example,  “If the new law had been in effect last April, it might have prevented the Virginia Tech shooter, Seung-Hui Cho, from buying a weapon at a gun store.”

 As we all know that on Monday, Apirl 16, 2007 on the campus of Virginia Tech, there was a school shooting. This massacre was led by the  only perpetrator Seung-Hui Cho, of which there was 33 deaths (including himself) and 20 wounded (according to msnbc http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/18140540/). This had happened because the law had not been passed before and it should have been http://query.nytimes.com/gst/fullpage.html?sec=health&res=9800EED8143EF932A25757C0A9669C8B63. Cho was ill because of his evulation of all the things he did and teachers knew about this and this federal law states:

The federal law defines adjudication as a mental defective to include “determination by a court, board, commission or other lawful authority” that as a result of mental illness, the person is a “danger to himself or others.”

In Saying this, the law that Bush passed was and is a good plan in fixing the Amendment, however this Amendment should be altered even more.

According to a 2004 Harris Interactive survey:

Republicans and Democrats hold very different views on gun control. A 71% to 11% majority of Democrats favors stricter gun control, whereas Republicans are split 35% to 35%

 In saying that, the U.S. is the weakest country in having stricter gun control acts and it is mainly, because of the idoitic idea of the 2nd Amendment. No the main reason why republicans dont want to have a stricter is because most of them own a gun.  

About 10,000 murders are committed using firearms annually, while an estimated 2.5 million crimes may be thwarted through civilian use of firearms annually.
